Rachel DeMille from A Thomas Jefferson Education has really outdone herself. She will tell you that this project of hers is a labor of love. The website states "This Week In History is a daily resource that brings your home school or classroom to life". Here is how This Week in History works, each day of the week something has happened in the past that is important or interesting. Rachel has researched everything and done all the legwork so you won't have to spend your precious time doing it. An email is sent to you once a week with something interesting or fun for each day. Each day will have a topic with text to explain what happened in history on that day. If you want to follow the rabbit down the trail, Rachel has included clickable links for more information or projects. This is a monthly subscription for $9.99. Everyone in your family can us this from the youngest to the oldest. Some of our favorites have been morse code, Mickey Mouse, cable cars, states, Japanese festivals, and Anne Frank. This would be great for any family. "The content is searchable by date, topic, and keyword, and the whole year's archive can be accessed by subscribers at any time". Visit This Week In History Sample Page to view a sample week. For more information about obtaining a subscription visit This Week In History. We really enjoyed this product and couldn't wait to see what would come in our email each week.
