Jumping to Wrong Conclusions and the Aftermath

Have you ever jumped to the wrong conclusions, lashed out, and then discovered you might have been in the wrong and there is no real way to fix it. Well that is where I am at the moment. Saying your sorry sometimes isn't enough and sometimes the other party involved isn't interested in accepting the apology. I feel broken, depressed, anxious, and hurt over the whole situation. I know I need to accept that I am human and I make mistakes. All experiences are learning experiences and will help us to deal with other situations we come across down the road. I have asked God to intervene on my behalf to let the other party know how truly sorry I am, to work on my character and help with this flaw that somehow found its way to the surface, and to also give me peace about the situation. I do ask for your prayers during this time of reflection and growth, because let's be real - no one enjoys feeling like this or admitting to yourself and others that you were wrong. I hope that the age old saying is true that "Time heals all wounds". I am taking a short little break from social media to get my perspective back and will be back sometime next week with a post. Thank you in advance for understanding and your prayers.

I'm so sorry Diane. We all go through things like that. I will pray for you and hope that the situation works itself out. Sometimes the only thing you can do is apologize. Maybe a letter? Sometimes you can say all you want to say in a letter or email and then let the person have time to read it and digest it. Hugs to you friend.
