Sunday after Church

Yesterday after church we went to Dahlonega which is an old historic town in North Georgia. Grace got to bring a friend. We did this as part of our Georgia History project. The building in the pictures is the old courthouse in Dahlonega. It houses the gold museum now. For those that didn't know, The Gold Rush actually started in 1828 in Georgia then on to California. Panning for gold and gem grubbing is very popular around here even today.
