Small Hidden Treasures in our Community

Our small little sleepy town has many historic sites. The first two pictures are of a small cemetary right in the middle of our town square. Most of the graves date back to the 1800's. Many of the graves are also marked with confederate flags meaning they fought in the Civil War. We also witnessed alot of children's graves. We have lived here for 7 years and had never made it out to the cememtary. Grace was actually very intrigued and read every single grave marker.

The last two pictures are of a small area across from our local library. It is a beautiful garden with pathways winding through it as well as two old buildings that are from the 1800's. During the week the buildings are openned and they have furnishings of that era.

This looks really neat. I love exploring historical sites and areas! Good job in finding this one.

I also think y'all have done a great job with the solar system. I really liked seeing her holding it for a size perspective.

Blessings
