No School Today

The plan today was go do our drama performance, come home and eat lunch, then do school. But by the time performance was finished and everything put away, we decided to go out for pizza for a late lunch and one thing led to another. We ended up hiking at a local state park. In the state of Georgia every Wednesday is free to get in. Even better a very frugal afternoon. We needed to get in some exercise anyway. Decided to take my third child with us, Angel that is, and let her get some exercise also. She loved it. The only area we couldn't take her was down the stairs into the gorge. So me and Angel did our own walk and Grace and Scott did the more than 1000 stairs down into the gorge. By the time they got back, Grace said she would never go down that again. Give her a week to recover and I bet she will change her tune. Especially if rock candy is in the picture like it was today.

Hi! I've been lurking on your blog for a little while now and have enjoyed reading it. :)

When we have days like this, we call them "Teacher Appreciation Days," lol. And we are big fans of free parking Wednesdays, even if just to walk around or go ride bikes! :)

Again, I enjoyed reading and look forward to reading more!
