Up front I want to say I am sorry for such a picture heavy post. The remaining pictures of the Horse Park today all come from inside The History of the Horse Museum. Lots to see and read about. The only annoying thing was the millions of years of evolution which we skipped over in the very beginning. Also talking about horses evolving from other animals. Even Grace was able to tell us all the wrong stuff they put up out there. But otherwise it was a very nice museum. This will be the last installment from the Horse Park and tomorrow we will move on to our next adventure.

Our very first camping trip was to the Horse Park in KY. We were tent camping and with young children thought the spot right beside the office and restrooms would be a good spot. BIG mistake! Four wheelers were in and out all night. Well, not all night, but long enough! It also happened to be unseasonably cold that night, low 30's. We about froze! The only comfort we got from the cold temps was knowing that there wouldn't be any snakes along our path to the bathhouse at night, something my kids really worried about.:) Aaahhh....memories...LOL We did love the Horse Park though. Looks like you had a great time!:)
