Index Card a Day Week 1

In a previous post I mentioned I had joined the Index Card a Day Challenge. I actually joined this a little late so only have four cards to show instead of five. Each week we are given 10 prompts to choose from - this week I choose dragonfly, collage, doodling name, and yellow. Please be gentle. I am so not an artist. The main reason I joined the challenge was to learn beginning art journaling for a co-op I will be teaching to kids and teens next spring.

What a lovely idea. I think you are actually hiding your talent under a bushel as those drawings are very good. If I tried to draw a dragonfly goodness knows what it would end up looking like! Enjoy your weekend xxx

I love this idea! They are somewhat similar to Art Cards. I love them.

I was so excited when I saw your comment on my post. Austin is where I went to high school. In fact Keilee and I live very close to AHS! :)

I think this is a fantastic idea. What an excellent way to exercise creativity.

I wanted to thank you for the comment about the broody chickens. I think yours is the best solution. No use fighting nature. Or a determined broody hen. :)

I was a few years behind you. YES we still use DHS stadium! Everything has changed so much. You would NOT recognize the Beltline! It is so exciting that you were living here and going to AHS! Keilee just thinks it is so cool. She said, "And you both homeschool and Grace and I both love theater and animals" ;)
